Hello modellers

Some test Photo shots from the trailer. It's not 100% finished but the last details are fixed by the end with the truck. But the painting is done. I hope you like it ! Here the pictures.

MAZ 537 "The Engine Compartment " with some weathering

Okay... the paint is on it. Now it's time for little bit of dust in the heart of the MAZ.

Wash the Hull with AK Wash. Alternative you can use Oilpaint ( Black, Raw Umber burnt )

The filter. Now it looks flat and first impression for dust is given.

AK dust effect is used for detail wash.
Remember the MAZ is used by the Iranian Army and it's very dusty in place.

It's time for color. My first paint job after six months. I've used the hairspray technique for the engine mount. The weathering is adjusted accordingly at the iranian desert, of which more later. Here is a step by step way of working.

Okay... the Compartment is almost finish. The last details will be added after the painting otherwise, it will be inaccessible. All parts composed by a resin copy. The scratched parts aside for a display Version for exhibition. The engine, both coolers and the engine mount will be painted separately.

I will starting again the engine Compartment. Some importent properties were not well executed in my first Version. I would like to say "Do it again".. I create the dash panel and the engine mount. Comprehensive, It dovetails nicely for the Trumpeter kit.

 

ChMZAP 524 G Trailer almost finished

I do some scratch work on the suspension, the spring brake and some details for the supply managment. A great help for more details is the Voyager PE Set. Take a look.
